This has been a great week in a great location

The condo is very comfortable with an excellent view of the ocean. It’s so much better than most other, more expensive Poipu Locations. Poipu is fabulous

Poipu is fabulous. We loved seeing whales from the shore, the Monk Seal, turtles close enough to swim with, and spectacular sunsets. Well equipped condo. Great location. The location is so great that we did snorkeling every morning starting from 6am. Later we realized that Poipu beach is one of the beat beaches in Kauai after traveling around the island. Spotted some gigantic roaches. Don’t know if Geckos can take care of them. Poipu Secret is a great place to stay. It’s got a beautiful view and only 99 steps to Poipu Beach. But watch out its really hot here. The roosters wake up around 5:00am but all in all it’s great. — Kelly & Kevin

Had a great time on Poipu Beach – location of condo is great. Enjoyed boogie boarding at Brennecke’s and snorkeling at various locations around the island. Being from South Africa – we were concerned that Kauai would be a tourist trap as most of the American vacation destinations tend to be – We were so pleasantly surprised –Kauai reminded us of our beloved beaches in South Africa and the laid-back attitude on the island suited us just fine. Our first Christmas

This was our first Christmas without snow and we thought we might miss the white. 10 degree F Weather of home - - but we didn’t – and Santa still came and we spent the rest of the day at Poipu Beach. #6 is comfi and kid friendly and reminded us of a college apartment we had- relaxed and easy to hangout in! Still getting use to all the roosters and chickens everywhere – but they too add to the charm of this beautiful place. We ate at Pizzettas in Koloa every other night. Big fans of the Kauaian Pizza. Yummy breakfast at tropical burgers. And the best sushi to go at the Big Save Grocery store in Koloa! Yum! — Anonymous

Kauai is breath taking!

Kauai is breath taking! We felt “at home” in #6. The beds are even comfortable! Everything we needed was here. The equipment is in great condition. Snorkeling is sooo cool! Where we live, there is a train just across the street from our house where they blow their horns. We’ll put up with the “Crowing” any day! (or early morning) the weather is paradise! This condo served its purpose of a place to rest.

We are much more relaxed and tan after our 13 day stay in Kauai. We are realizing now we are not able to do it all and will have to come back. This condo served its purpose of a place to rest and pack lunches for our days of exploring. It allows us to truly experience the flavor of Kauai. Even the daily rains didn’t dampen our fun. (The roosters don’t as much on rainy mornings) After a great day on beaches or hiking you need to make the short drive over to Lihue for Cold Stone Creamery creations in Kukui Grove Mall. Yum Yum! — The Taylors, Las Vegas, NV

We greatly enjoyed staying here. We went on Zodiac boat w/Captain Andy’s. Very exciting. Went into caves along the Napali coast. Stopped at the mountain w/the X and a great lunch (via catered by Marks Place) and saw a Monk Seal. Great places to eat. Keokes, Roys, Tiptop Café for breakfast. Poipu Beach Broiler. Brennecke’s Restaurant and Deli. Kalaheo Brick oven Pizza. Hanale Bay Resort for Lunch. Kipu Falls – very fun! Body surfing! Ship Wrecks and Brennecke’s Beach. Best place to buy souvenirs: Hilo Hatties, Coconut Market Place, Red Dirt T-Shirts, Spouting Horn. Condo was nice – all we really did was sleep &shower. So not much time spent here. This was the best time we've had w/o AC. The Plumeria breezes & birds were great. We definitely took advantage of the fresh produce & fruits at the markets. We liked the wood-carved light switches that we went on a hunt for some to take home. We enjoyed the tours @ the guava, coffee & sugar plantations … All the Macadamia mania. It was exciting to see 2 Monk Seals here @ the beach while snorkeling. Recommend the vistas along the trails of the Waimea Canyon especially Kalalau & Kokee. Enjoyed the stay

Enjoyed the stay my first to this beautiful island. Truly enjoyed the North shore. A must! Snorkel area- ahhh. Had to wash the towels, took a bike ride, the bikes need service. The chairs are broken. This Island is truly breath taking.

This island is truly breath taking. Different beauty than Maui which I have enjoyed before. The accommodations of the condo are great. I slept very well all week. I will pass this place on to others and most likely stay again. I do recommend Kee each on the North side (All the way to the end of 56.) Make sure to jump over the reef for better snorkeling. Had a fantastic time staying here and exploring Kauai! We took a look at condos, hotels and resorts form Princeville Resort to the Hyatt and this place is by far the best!! Great location. Not too touristy, yet close enough to Waimea and the Coconut coast to make our outings a breeze. Well stocked and wonderfully laid back. I would not hesitate for a second recommending Poipu Secret to Friends and family interested in a trip to Kauai. I feel fortunate (and lucky) to run across such a great place!
